About Johncy – Seafood Restaurant in Goa
was started in 1985 by Agnelo Severes, keeping in mind the culture and tradition of Goan Cuisine. Though the start in the 80’s was humble, but still the typical Goan looks and feel of “Tavern” was very much maintained. Since then we have come a long way, and have grown in fame and quality standards.
The food is very fresh, specially the seafood as it comes from our very own fishing boats. Also hygiene is our top priority and to achieve this Agnelo personally supervise every section. The place has a very peaceful ambiance, with balanced lighting and sitting arrangement is both indoor as well as outdoors.
We have a very well trained staff to ensure prompt service and we cater to around 250 people at any given time. Johncy’s has been the host to Goans and tourists alike with people from India, and the world flocking to this vibrant place for the delicious food they always have on offer.
Seafood has always been our USP, the seafood that we serve is very fresh as it comes from our own fishing boats. Praws, snapper, crabs you can just pick it up right from the live fish display counter.
