All great stories have a beginning and so is it with Ritz Classic Bar & Restaurant on 9th July 1976, Shri Rohidas “Daad” Dessai an entrepreneur in the making started his journey from Cuncolim in South Goa to Panaji the capital of Goa. He started a very modest restaurant serving fish curry & rice, the traditional food of Goans. The environment was not luxurious but the food was truly delicious.

This great legecy of Shri. Rohidas was carried forward by his son Shri. Rajesh Desai who was having envisioned a much larger restaurant for families as well as tourists coming to Goa, Started Ritz Classic on 18 June Road Offering Sumptuous Goan fares as well as other cuisines.

The unparalled success of Ritz Classic, Panaji, enticed Shri. Rajesh Dessai to venture into the third Ritz Classic at Patto-Panaji, which is more ambient and spacious. Thus offering advance booking, family dining and a party lounge.
